Development

The full redesign and development of CINE.org was an immense amount of fun. The primary goal of the project was to create a fun and inviting aesthetic to promote CINE's biannual film competition while providing emerging and established film, video, and new media professionals with resources on the film and entertainment industry. The majority of the site is HTML with PHP, jQuery, Flash and XML used throughout. Majority of the 'props' - ie: marquee, film strip, video gallery, clapboard - were created from scratch in Illustrator or Photoshop, to give the site a unique look and feel, set apart from sites using stock photography or literal photographs.

I designed CINE'S new logo and identity during the website redesign process. The logo incorporates a snippet of a film implying the 'i' in CINE to display their industry involvement, and an eagle symbolic of their long standing signature Golden Eagle award.

I am responsible for updating and maintenance of the website as well as all graphics used for competitions and announcements.
