I am a freelance web designer and developer based in Arlington, Virginia. Born and raised in Tennessee, an alum of the University of Virginia School of Architecture, I began teaching myself web design and development in early 2007 and have been freelancing since I moved to the Washington DC area in 2008.
My web development skills include HTML/CSS, Flash (ActionScript 2.0/3.0) with XML databases, jQuery integration, and familiarity with PHP/MySQL. I have extensive experience with WordPress and ModX content management systems and introductory knowledge of jQtouch for mobile web design.
In addition, I offer Flash animation, site maintenance, print graphics and identity design.
I also enjoy traveling and making things.
